글로벌 전략·정보학과는 기업과 공공기관이 급변하는 산업환경을 대응하는데 가장 필요한 정보가 무엇인지 파악하고, 이를 체계적으로 수집, 가공, 분석하여 조직의 비전에 부합하는 최적의 전략을 도출할 수 있도록 핵심 교육과 실무 경험을 제공하고 있습니다.

기존의 경영학, 행정학, 국제관계학은 지나치게 광범위하며, 이를 모두 섭렵하기가 쉽지 않습니다. 필요한 핵심 기능과 지식을 활용해 거대한 불확실성을 효과적으로 극복하기 위한 항법장치가 필요한 시점입니다.

글로벌 전략·정보학과는 국내최초로 개설된 정보와 전략의 심화 과정으로서 “글로벌”, “전략”, “정보”를 중심 키워드로 분석력과 통찰력을 갖춘 글로벌 전략정보 전문가를 양성하고, 국가기관 및 다양한 산업 분야에서 요구되는 기획자, 전략가, 최고의사결정자로서 글로벌 리더로 성장시키기 위해 설립된 과정입니다.

Department of Global Strategy and Intelligence Studies provides core educational and practical experiences to help firms and public institutions identify the information they most need to respond to the rapidly changing industrial environment, and systematically collect, process, and analyze it to derive optimal strategies in line with the organization's vision.

The existing fields of business administration, public administration, and international relations are overly broad and difficult to master. It is time for a navigational device to effectively overcome huge uncertainties by utilizing the necessary core skills and knowledge.

Department of Global Strategy and Intelligence Studies is the first established in-depth program in intelligence and strategy in Korea, and was designed to foster global strategic intelligence professionals with analytical and insightful skills with “global,” “strategy,” and “intelligence” as the keywords, and to train them to become global leaders as planners, strategists, and top decision makers required by national organizations and various industries.
