K-pop과 K-movie 등 한류의 세계적 확산으로 인한 한국에 대한 외국의 관심 고조되고 있습니다. 이에 한국은 빈곤국가에서 선진국가로, 독재국가에서 민주국가로, 해외개발원조 수혜국에서 공여국으로 탈바꿈한 유일한 국제적 모범사례 국가로서 해외의 한국에 대한 학습 열기 고조되고 있습니다.

해외에서의 한국에 대한 매력 증가와 대양한 영역에서의 한국적 모델의 지속적 성장 전망으로 인해 외국 청소년들의 한국 유학 또한 증가 추세입니다.

We aim to educate and cultivate talented people to lead the internationalization era. With the acceleration of globalization, the interconnections among countries in economic, political, social, and cultural domains are becoming more profound, thereby necessitating individuals who can effectively address complex challenges within the international community. To meet this need, we offer an education that emphasizes a thorough understanding of the social sciences and specialized knowledge in international studies.

The global spread of the Korean Wave, led by K-pop and K-movies, has increased international interest toward Korea. As the only example of the transformation from a poor to a developed country, from a dictatorship to a democracy, and from a recipient of international assistance to a provider, Korea has been recognized as an ideal model for other countries to learn from.

The growing interest in Korea from abroad and the continued growth of the Korean model have also led to an increase in the number of international students studying in Korea.
