Discover new startup models through global talent collaboration

Hanyang University's Global Social Innovation Center has designed and operates various programs to foster global social innovation talents who can solve social problems in a practical way. The Cambodia ICT Startup Incubation Exchange Program was held in cooperation with KOICA Cambodia Office, Royal University of Phnom Penh, National Incubation Center of Cambodia, and Korea Productivity Center, with the goal of incubating ICT startup ideas that can be learned in Cambodia by Hanyang University students. Hanyang University students and Royal Phnom Penh University students worked as a team to identify startup ideas and develop them through weekly team activities. The program created synergy through exchanges between Hanyang University students and Royal Phnom Penh University students. During the 8th Annual Seventeen Hearts Festival, Hanyang University students visited Royal Phnom Penh University to enjoy the festival together and conduct team activities for the mid-term review meeting. In addition, members of the winning teams, Agile and SSOK, visited Royal Phnom Penh University to pitch their startup models to local experts. The Cambodia ICT Startup Incubation Exchange Program has helped students improve their understanding of Cambodia and develop locally applicable ICT startup ideas. Hanyang University will continue the program in cooperation with local experts in Cambodia.
